25. 50 Lenze*
(pronounced: fuu'nftzig lantz'a)

Difficulty: 5.10, multi-pitch (2 pitches)

Protection: G/PG - small/med nuts and cams, pin, 5 bolts.

Description: Just left of Flat Vision is a line of bolts at the edge of the huge cave roof. Stick clip recommended. A hard, reachy move pulls the overhang, then steep climbing past 4 bolts up steep face at the right edge of the huge cave. Easier climbing angles left accross the top of the cave roof past pins, annother bolt and a few small/medium cams to a 2 bolt anchor (100ft). Protecting the 2nd on this pitch is crucial.
Pitch 2 goes up the 5.9 /8+? face just right of the nose to the top and then angles left to a bolted anchor (30 ft.).

Rack: Single set of cams from green alien to red cams, slings, draws.

Established on lead by Nick Goldsmith and Isa Oehry. FA: Isa Oehry & Nick Goldsmith 9-1-08.

'50 Lenze' refers to '50 springs' - a German saying for having lived 50 springs. Happy Birthday Isa and thanks to Nick for the lichen scrubbing birthday gift!
