Directions: Deer Leap is located in Central Vermont on the North side of Rte. 4 (between Killington and Mendon) on top of the Killington/Pico pass behind the famous Inn at the Long Trail. Park across the street from the Inn at the Long Trail in the big parking lot.

Camping: Dining and rooms are available at the Inn. Free camping is possible at the trail head on a flat, grassy area next to the parking area (ask permission at the Inn at the Long Trail and don't forget to hit the Irish pub for the perfect pint with live music on weekends).

Approach: There is a non official climber's trail that heads directly to the cliff. It is a dangerous 4th class scramble. Please use the official Deer Leap overlook trail (.9miles) if you have any doubts about the ability of any member in your party.
